Waiting till the major crowds were gone made it SO pleasurable! Luis, our driver, was informative, entertaining and just a delightful guide.

Easy to find and the person who we checked in with was very outgoing and upbeat! We arrived early to make sure we knew where we were going and was able to start earlier. Once we got on the golf cart, we listened to Christmas music and the driver started out on streets that had a lot of lights, but about 15 minutes in, we found that he stopped narrating and only played music and would take us down alleys that had no lights. We were under the assumption that it would be about 45 minutes and it turned out to be about 40 minutes. Can't say it was horrible as the nights of lights were amazing to look at, but thought we would get a little history from our driver while we were going around.

Hi there, unlike our regular narrated history tours, the night of lights are mainly a golf cart ride to see the lights. We drive around the areas of the city where the lights are concentrated and we play Xmas music for the guests during the ride. The drivers will add commentary if the guests are new to the city but again these tours are not meant to be history based just like the trolleys it any other golf cart operator. We took this tour thinking we would see things that other tours couldn’t show as some streets are extremely narrow. However it pretty much felt like we traveled in all the main areas. This same route could’ve been accomplished on foot. It was nice that it was private. We were excited to be visiting for the first time and were a bit let down because the guide Melanie wasn’t very joyful.
