Do use the service from Pier 36!! It is a big con. When we came out of the subway at Battery Park, we were approached by a number of reps trying to sell us tickets for a Statute of Liberty cruise. We avoided all of them and then were approached by a rep who said that he was an official from the New York Port Authority (think it was called the New York Port Authority Agency - with light blue shirts). He told us we could get a ticket to a cruise nearby. We bought tickets and then were bussed (in a dark, dirty and hot bus) to a location about 15 min away. We were then made to queue for the boat next to a disused warehouse, when we got to the 'front of the queue, they allowed us to go through only to realize (once we turned the corner) that there was a very long queue ahead of us that had been waiting in the sun for over two hours. The boar was smelly, dirty and unsafe with on emergency exits.
Do not use any of the scouts outside the subway station!

With all due respect we do not sell tickets in battery park or on the street. You are writing a review about tickets that you only can purchase on line for a cruise and I do not think this is justified. I would appreciate you consider removing this review. We do not shuttle people. We simple have a scenic sightseeing cruise that operates 4 times a day and it takes you near Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
