Met right where they said they'd be but you need to go up and ask someone if they are with City Tales. If you do that, you're good. Mike was awesome--and gave a ton of information. Tour was about 4 hours long. We had my 2 year old niece with us and it was about an hour too long for her....so take heed if you are planning on taking little kids. Maybe opt for a bit shorter trip. Other than that, the trip was well organized and informative. If I had opted for the NY run trip on my own, it wouldn't have been nearly as informative. Definitely worth the money. We did the 9:15am pedestal trip and the lines weren't bad at all. When we came back and I saw the afternoon lines, I almost died----they were city blocks long to get on the boat. We took the boat to Liberty Island first and tour the statue up to the Pedastal. Stellar. And Mike took photos for us. Then took the boat to Ellis Island and we really got a sense of what happened there thanks to Mike's narrative. Please tip the tourguide--they SO deserve it!
Oh, and we went in August--- it was hot as balls---so be sure to take water and money for refreshments. Take cash in case the credit card machines are down (as in our case.)
