What To Expect

Pier 39

Take advantage of prime photo opportunities with unobstructed views in every direction during this 1-hour bay cruise, departing from Pier 39. Snap photos of barking sea lions that bask on the docks, and take a seat indoors or on the outdoor deck.

San Francisco Bay

Plug in your WiFi-enabled device to access the audio tour, and listen to complete narration describing major landmarks as you glide past. Food and drinks are available to purchase on board.

Golden Gate Bridge

We wanted to tour Alcatraz, but unbeknownst to us, those tours book up way in advance. So we took the "regular" cruise around San Francisco Bay, under the Golden Gate Bridge and past Alcatraz. The cruise wasn't that bad except that the ship was so packed I we couldn't get anyplace near a railing. It's really nice to get out on the bay, but being packed onto a "tour" boat like sardines really takes most of the pleasure out of it. After initially posting 2 stars, I got a couple of really nice replies and apologies from a representative. To me that counts for something, so they now get 3 stars!

I went to the ticket booth to purchase tickets for my group and Sophia very nicely answered my questions and sold me the tickets with a smile on her face not like some other cashiers in other places who never smile. Good job keep smiling. From a happy customer

Although we did not go on the tour to Alcatraz This cruise circled the island and gave us great views. It was thrilling to sail under the Golden Gate bridge and see it from different angles. Narration was very informative although wind and noise from engine sometimes made it hard to hear. Dress warm.
