What To Expect

Pier 39

Take advantage of prime photo opportunities with unobstructed views in every direction during this 1-hour bay cruise, departing from Pier 39. Snap photos of barking sea lions that bask on the docks, and take a seat indoors or on the outdoor deck.

San Francisco Bay

Plug in your WiFi-enabled device to access the audio tour, and listen to complete narration describing major landmarks as you glide past. Food and drinks are available to purchase on board.

Golden Gate Bridge

Alcatraz was sold out, and we only had one day in San Francisco. We took this tour and were thrilled with the level of information provided about the bridge, Alcatraz, and other aspects of the Bay. It was a very enjoyable outing. The outdoor benches at the front of the boat were great for taking photos, and the interior seats were great for those who don't want to be out in the weather.

We got tickets for the cruise as part of a package from Viator with another tour so we weren't expecting much. We were quite happy with the cruise after all! Even after having already seen the Golden Gate Bridge, it was interesting to see it from another vantage point and being able to take some great photos including ones under the bridge which were different. The narration was informative, providing some bits of info about the bridge, bay and more we didn't get anywhere else.

My son was home visiting for the weekend for military leave, and we decided to be tourists in SF. We thought it would be amazing to take the cruise under the bridge and around the bay. It was so fun. The views were amazing! it was a cold day but worth the trip. Just bundle up! The line to board was very long. I didn't think we would get on that trip, BUT we did! The audio tour had some interesting facts about it as well.
