It was amazing to experience multiple things all in one tour. We were able to ride in a helicopter, learn about the dogs, how to opporate a dog sled, see the cutest dogs and puppies, and have amazing people there helping and educating us on everything. All while admiring beautiful scenery from the glaciers to rivers and more. Truly an amazing experience and highly recommend to others. Thank you!

4 of us, all in our 60's, were flown by Alpine Air up to Punch Bowl Glacier, in 2 tiny helicopters. The pilots were very friendly. Once on the Glacier the 3 young female dog mushers greeted us and could not have been more friendly, energetic or passionate about their work. They gave us a very informative talk about the dogs and what their day is like, all while allowing us to help harness dogs to the sleds. Then after a brief lesson on how to stand on the sleds we were off and running. One of them goes out ahead on a snowmobile and the dogs pretty much just follow the snowmobile, so you needn't worry. But the experience was awesome and unforgettable. Definitely one of the biggest highlights of our weeklong trip to Alaska !

Fantastic experience. All the way from check in, to the helicopter ride and the experience with the self team and the dogs, was amazing. The dogs are so amazing. We got to interact with all the dogs and even the puppy. Each of us got the chance to ride the sledge on our own for a full loop of the glacier (about 1-1.5mi). We got a change to help hook up the dogs, & feed them. Expensive but totally worth it. The mushing crew were also amazing in encouraging us all to interact with the dogs!!
