Our favorite part of our glacier dogsledding tour was getting to meet the dogs! The glacier was beautiful, a nice break from summer heat, plus an awesome and fast helicopter ride to and from the glacier! 10/10 would do again.

Had an amazing time. Got geared up, had an easy 10 minute flight out to the glacier. Met the dogs and mushers. Went on a couple laps around the glacier on the sled talking about the dogs and glaciers and such. Guides were super professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The pilot pointed out a mountain goat as we flew past. Couldn't recommend this trip highly enough.

When I was planning our Alaska vacation, I wanted to include a helicopter tour and a dog sled tour. This tour gave us both experiences in one tour. What better way to have a sled dog experience than on a glacier? Everyone on the tour was friendly and helpful right from the start. We were given boots to wear over our shoes and a rain jacket and pants to wear on the glacier. The helicopter ride was fun and exciting. It was great meeting all of the dogs. They were excited to see us and many wanted to be petted. They were all very friendly. They started barking with excitement when it was time to ride the dog sled. My husband and I were the only two people on the tour at the time, so we had ample time and opportunity to ride on the sled. (A benefit of the covid pandemic.) We each had a turn sitting in front and a turn standing in back. In my opinion this is the way to see the sled dogs and ride on a dog sled. We then were given an explanation of the dogs and training for the Iditarod. The two guides were very knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to answer any questions. One even used my camera to video us going out on the sled the first time. I am so glad we had this experience. I highly recommend this tour. It was a doubly unique experience for me.
