Wonderful experience start to finish! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and everything went right according to schedule...no worries about making it back in time for our cruise. The helicopter ride was very smooth and comfortable, even for me being pregnant. The dogs were adorable and delightful and the sled ride itself was one of the coolest things we've ever done. We hope to come back some day for a longer excursion. Great job, y'all, keep it up! :D

Our son and us had a great time during the tour. At the airport, they provide everything you need to visit the dogs. All you need to bring is sun glasses, camera and smiles. A short helicopter ride took us to the camp up on the mountain, where 30+ dogs are waiting for you. We learnt the life of dogs, mushing and Iditarod race. We had chances to take pictures with dogs, play with puppies, and of course ride in sled. It was a wonderful experience

Hello Henry, We're happy you had a wonderful experience with your son in Alaska, and you were able to learn so much about dog mushing. We hope to see you again if you're ever back in Alaska. Thank you! Amber

The actual ride is an approximately 1 mile loop on the glacier. The helicopter ride takes 15m each way. You get to spent the rest of the time on the glacier, walking around, and petting the dogs. On the whole this is pricey- however, the entire experience was great. My 12 year old loved it ("The best EVER"), so it was worth it. No way to get to do this without the expensive helicopter ride, I guess. Overall, we loved the experience; the staff was very helpful and friendly, as was the pilot. The puppies at the glacier camp were very cute.
