The moose. Guide )Mike) was good, kept a good pace for all, educated about flora and fauna. A great day.

Hi Sharon. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review about your experience on our valley & forest hike. We'll let Mike know about your trip with him. If you have the ability, I'd love to hear about how we could have made your 4 star experienced a 5 star. Give us a call or leave us a message. Thanks!

The hike had incredible views! Our tour guide Caleb was knowledgeable. He did offer us walking sticks which were very helpful. We did see a Moose on the street while driving to our 1st location. We were offered restroom breaks before and after the 1st portion of the tour. We saw several droppings of Moose and bear along the trails but no sightings during the walking portion. The only thing a few people on the tour were disappointed in was not getting the option of not getting our shoes wet crossing the river. I didn't mind but some were going on a plane right after the tour. We only crossed the river to see more views and have a photo op. Some would have rather not gotten their feet and ankles wet and having to walk the rest of the tour in wet socks/shoes. They should be given an option if they want to get their feet wet. The trails were a little busy that day for a Sunday morning but wasn't too bad. The 2nd portion of the trip we were told we didn't need the walking sticks for Barbara Falls but it was quite slippery and very uneven terrain. A few of us were having issues trying to keep our balance. My knees were shot from hiking a mountain the day before so even I was struggling. They said it was private property but yet we had several people showing up that were not on tours so the falls was a bit crowded. Our guide seemed to rush us on this portion of the tour which made it not as fun. He also took pictures of others on the tour but never once offered us and started to leave without us even knowing. He provided us with string cheese and an apple towards the end of the tour but we never received a granola bar as it said in the description. He only offered us water when we first got at the 1st location but it was never mentioned again when we got our food. A few tips for future tours, I would suggest the guides telling people they don't need to cross the river for photo Ops and guides should offer the walking sticks on the 2nd portion at the falls.

Hell and thanks for leaving us detailed feedback about your experience. It sounds like there are things we should have done better, like walking you through a dry area, serving the advertised food & water, and offering trekking poles. I've spoke with the guide that ran your tour and reminded him the importance of doing all of the above on tour. I appreciate your insight into the experience so we can correct the issues and serve the next guest better. With Gratitude - Matt (Owner)
