Sunset Sail from Traverse City with Food, Wine & Cocktails

Overview

Wind down and relax as our captain and first mate teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced gourmet food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Please bring rain gear, a beach towel, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

An amazing experience all around! The food was scrumptious: a choice of vegan, vegetarian and traditional fare, local and organic, an aesthetically pleasing presentation, generous portions and truly a delight for the palette. The crew was nothing short of gracious, accommodating and passionate about sailing the waters of Grand Traverse Bay. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone wishing to experience the beautiful and healing waters of this magical place. Thank you to Tawny and the crew aboard the Wind Dancer for an extraordinary evening.
