Overview

Wind down and relax as our captain and first mate teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced gourmet food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Please bring rain gear, a beach towel, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

AWESOME experience!!! We loved it. I also love the idea of supporting local busnisses with all the food and drink on board. My only critique: there was no options for dinner choices and I left hungry.

The Traverse City and surrounding areas are wonderful places to vacation. Our lifelong couple friends suggested we try the Wind Dancer Sunset Cruise while there for our annual vacation together. It was a wonderful experience. Will keep the memory alive of the joy we all felt during the cruise. Tawny played music we loved which only added to the enjoyment. Still humming the Bee Gees! We even made some new friends and traded stories. You will feel very safe with Captain Dan too!
