Sunset Sail from Traverse City with Food, Wine & Cocktails

Overview

Wind down and relax as our captain and first mate teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced gourmet food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Please bring rain gear, a beach towel, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

The crew, especially "Captain Dan", are very knowledgable about a wide variety of historical and current topics about the bay, including its geological, nautical and cultural histories. The entire crew is friendly and committed to giving passengers a great experience. We had a fantastic time. In addition, the food was locally sourced, interesting, and delicious.

Crew was very nice and informative. Like how personal the cruise was compared to some others on the bay. Only thing was the price seemed a bit inflated.

We promise and provide an intimate experience with locally made spirits, wines, craft beers, ciders and soda pop and beautiful artisan food from the bakeries and farms in TC.
