Sunset Sail from Traverse City with Food, Wine & Cocktails

Overview

Wind down and relax as our captain and first mate teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced gourmet food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Please bring rain gear, a beach towel, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

The weather was perfect! The three guys that ran the sail boat were phenomenal. They were very professional and loads of fun. My husband never sailed and doesn’t swim. He was slightly nervous but once we started sailing he relaxed. He even offered to help raise the sails!

Beautiful boat with wonderful service. The drinks and food all were from local places which I appreciated. Lots of drink options and quick and filling glasses. Just the right number of people on board. Very relaxing! Great trip for couples or friends.
