Surfing - Group Lesson - Waikiki, Oahu

Overview

Learn to surf on this 2-hour group lesson on Oahu. Join a group of students and discover how to ride the waves like some of the Island's most famous celebrities with the help of a certified, professional instructor. We have small student to instructor ratio of 1 instructor for every 3-4 students. Waikiki Surf Lesson starts a 10 minute safety slide show inside our surf shop, followed by heading to the beach and practicing on the sand for another 10 minutes. In our 20 year experience, we know that surfing is muscle memory, so when first timers master their surf stance then they tend to get up on their very first wave.

Awesome surfing experience! Charlie is an amazing instructor. I was up on my first ride and then had so many more - one took me all the way in for a great end to the day. I’m calling him “no wipeouts Charlie” because I didn’t wipeout once. Thanks. I’ll definitely recommend.

Had an amazing time in the water thanks to Jimmy (our instructor) he was so sweet, encouraging, and very knowledgeable while helping us learn to surf!! If you every need great lessons, ask for jimmy!!! He’s the bestest!!

I'm 55 years old and took my two children and one of their friends (all in their 20's) for a group lesson to the Waikiki location. None of us had ever surfed before. There were about 10 adults in our lesson and Jimmy, Connor, Jimmy and "Spider" couldn't have been more patient and helpful. I do believe everyone in the entire group were able to get up and surf at some point. It was so much fun and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
