Surfing - Group Lesson - Waikiki, Oahu

Overview

Learn to surf on this 2-hour group lesson on Oahu. Join a group of students and discover how to ride the waves like some of the Island's most famous celebrities with the help of a certified, professional instructor. We have small student to instructor ratio of 1 instructor for every 3-4 students. Waikiki Surf Lesson starts a 10 minute safety slide show inside our surf shop, followed by heading to the beach and practicing on the sand for another 10 minutes. In our 20 year experience, we know that surfing is muscle memory, so when first timers master their surf stance then they tend to get up on their very first wave.

I've never had a chance to surf in my entire life--so going to Hawaii was going to be my one shot. I ended up going twice because it really is a thrill--even if the instructor is doing most of the work--literally, you can paddle all you want, but if you don't have an instructor helping shove you into the wave, good luck! This surf school is super convenient if you are staying at Turtle Bay, so I highly recommend it if you are at this resort! *August 2013

My daughters and I had an excellent experience. Our instructors Duke and Jimmy made the experience fun and kept us laughing the entire time. I would highly recommend, a first class operation!!

We called about booking a lesson and were pleasantly surprised that we ended up with a private lesson :) We stood up on every wave we tried - our teacher Will was great. The staff was also very friendly.
