Overview

Learn to surf on this 2-hour group lesson on Oahu. Join a group of students and discover how to ride the waves like some of the Island's most famous celebrities with the help of a certified, professional instructor. We have small student to instructor ratio of 1 instructor for every 3-4 students. Waikiki Surf Lesson starts a 10 minute safety slide show inside our surf shop, followed by heading to the beach and practicing on the sand for another 10 minutes. In our 20 year experience, we know that surfing is muscle memory, so when first timers master their surf stance then they tend to get up on their very first wave.

Matt, Josh and Lance were fantastic! Took great care to make sure my 13 and 8yr old (along with my 45yr old self) had a safe and action packed day on the waves. The instructors were patient and helpful. Shirts and photos made the entire experience well worth the money!

Bruno was an awesome instructor and the spot they picked for the lesson felt like we had the ocean to ourselves. The pictures they took were fantastic! Wish we had more time to do it again! Highly recommend!!

We went for the group lesson at 9am and it was fantastic. The instructors were all super friendly and cool! They got us all to manage standing up and I have never done anything even remotely similar to surfing before. There was plenty of time to get some practice in and the location was excellent for learning - gentle waves and not crowded at all despite being in Waikiki! Being in the water during the heat at the end of April was a bonus. The staff are all very nice and they provide you all the necessities (shoes, rashguard, lifejacket if necessary) before the lesson. We had some issues with retrieving some of the photos they had taken of us during the lesson and the staff were excellent in following up and getting us the photos! I have zero complaints whatsoever.
