Surfing - Group Lesson - Waikiki, Oahu

Overview

Learn to surf on this 2-hour group lesson on Oahu. Join a group of students and discover how to ride the waves like some of the Island's most famous celebrities with the help of a certified, professional instructor. We have small student to instructor ratio of 1 instructor for every 3-4 students. Waikiki Surf Lesson starts a 10 minute safety slide show inside our surf shop, followed by heading to the beach and practicing on the sand for another 10 minutes. In our 20 year experience, we know that surfing is muscle memory, so when first timers master their surf stance then they tend to get up on their very first wave.

These guys bring you to the best surfing spots on island, and you will get to hang of surfing by the end of your lesson. They take time and energy into focusing on your skill level. We had a group day 1 and then went semi-private for day 2. Both experiences were awesome. We loved having both Ikaika and Noah be our instructors. Semi-private is definitely the way to go because you get more surfs in, and you get more focused attention/teaching. They also take photos of you surfing (and falling), and its really fun. Overall one of the best activities we did.

Had an enjoyable lesson and morning with Hans Hedemann surf school. Friendly staff and good time. We got up on our boards the first try. We are in our 60's and first time trying to surf. Surfing shoes and shirt provided as part of lesson. It was definitily worth it to have this experience!

We had a great time learning to surf, all instructors where great with teaching us. Everyone managed to stand up and surf for the first time. Photos of the lesson where cheap and won a free tee for the best belly flop!
