Surfing - Group Lesson - Waikiki, Oahu

Overview

Learn to surf on this 2-hour group lesson on Oahu. Join a group of students and discover how to ride the waves like some of the Island's most famous celebrities with the help of a certified, professional instructor. We have small student to instructor ratio of 1 instructor for every 3-4 students. Waikiki Surf Lesson starts a 10 minute safety slide show inside our surf shop, followed by heading to the beach and practicing on the sand for another 10 minutes. In our 20 year experience, we know that surfing is muscle memory, so when first timers master their surf stance then they tend to get up on their very first wave.

My Two boys and I (14,11) got lessons for the first time from Chris, Dave and Duke. They were amazing to work with, we had an amazing time. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

This place was top notch! From booking online before our vacation to the actual surf lesson.....everything was great! We were a family of four and had Kapua and Will as our instructors. Both of them were amazing. Great customer service and excellent teaching skills. Was a small feat to get me up on the board but they did it! The rest of the family enjoyed themselves and our two teens said it was the highlight of their trip and they would never forget the experience! We were given a CD with some great pictures of all us which I thought was a nice touch and a way for us to remember the experience for years to come. Thank you for such a special day!

We got our 15 year old daughter into a group lesson the day we arrived at Turtle Bay. Her instructor was amazing! We were so happy that everyone in the group was able to get up and have plenty of runs. Each group had 2 students and we headed to a bay that was perfect for first timers. I wish that I had gone on the lesson with her. We were very happy that they took pictures and offered them for us too. FYI - Wear sunscreen!
