What To Expect
1
Danza del Sol Winery
Wine Tour (De Portola Trail - Daily) Late Bird Tour (Saturday Only) Danza del Sol is the first stop of our Traditional Wine Tour. It's a boutique winery and was the first winery built on De Portola Road in the 1970's. For the 11 am and 11:45 am tours, we always try to arrange a mini production tour so our customers can learn a little bit about the wine making process and the different fermentations wine goes through between stainless steel vessels and oak barrels.
2
Somerset Vineyard and Winery
Wine Tour (De Portola Trail - Daily) Late Bird Tour (Saturday Only) Night Out Tour (Friday & Saturday) Somerset Winery is where we arrange a production tour for every time slot of our Traditional Wine Tour. Someset is unique because is it the only winery in southern California (and one of only 8 wineries in the U.S.) which produce wine through the ancient terra-cotta process which started in Persia over 8,000 years ago. The process involves fermentation inside large clay vessels which avoids producing tannins from the traditional oak barrels, and instead gives the wine a more all-natural taste. Many wine enthusiasts say that this is the most pure way to make wine, but you will have to determine that for yourself once your take our wine tour!
3
Lorenzi Estate Vineyards and Winery
Rancho Cal Wine Tour (Saturday Only) You will receive a seated, hosted tastings at Lorenzi Estates, a premier winery in Temecula which has the most 90+ point scores in all of Wine Country.
4
Maurice Car'rie Winery/Van Roekel Vineyards
Rancho Cal Wine Tour (Saturday Only) You will enjoy the opportunity to eat lunch in Maurice Car'rie Winery's barrel room with super cold a/c. Winery staff will serve wine tastings during lunch. Please note that the cost of lunch is not included in the price of the ticket. Lunch orders must be pre-ordered via email and can be paid on the day of the tour.
5
Callaway Vineyard and Winery
Rancho Cal Wine Tour (Saturday Only) Night Out Tour (Friday & Saturday) Callaway winery offers wine tastings inside their air conditioned tasting room, or outside on the patio which offers seating and minimal shade. Callaway is considered a premier winery in Temecula and beside its wine, it is also known for its great views and beautiful sunsets.

I booked this tour for a bachelorette party and it was even better than I expected it would be! The wineries were beautiful and our tour guide, Calvin made the trip so fun! Emmanuel also helped us out and was amazing! The wineries were more than generous with their wines (our second stop gave us six tastings!) so we really felt like we got a thorough sampling of Temecula's wines! Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour!

Two of the three wineries we visited were wonderful - great staff and owners who greeted us and made sure we were having a good experience. The third winery was underwhelming in all ways - wine, staff, service, etc. our tour guide was also pretty hands off. He dropped us and went off drinking on his own. He did take photos for the group which was nice. Though we found a picture of him sticking his tongue out the next day. Given he made no effort to be friendly or connect with any of us the picture felt inappropriate, unprofessional, and intrusive.

This is such a bizarre review. First off, sorry that you found the silly selfie unprofessional. It was meant to leave you with a smile upon finding it, and I am sorry it had the opposite effect. I promise that the only intention was to give you a good giggle. As far as the 3rd winery being underwhelming, well of course it was, but that's only because you left out the part that it was raining during the 3rd winery stop, and all the guests in attendance on an already crowded Saturday afternoon were forced to go inside and pack the tasting room shoulder to shoulder. That is obviously not an ideal situation, but what are you going to do? It only rains in Temecula 15-20 days per year, and unfortunately, you happened to be there on one of those days, and you experienced a passing rain that caused you to dislike the last winery we brought you to. Also, to say that the tour guide was 'drinking on his own' is false and unfair. Not sure what your intent is behind that, but Lorenzi Estates happened to be serving a new wine on their menu that day and the staff offered me a tasting, and I happily accepted. That 2 ounce pour I received to try a new wine was the only time I drank any wine the entire day. The "drinking on his own" statement is unfair and very misleading. As for the other statement about 'being hands off', this is actually completely false. I remember your group specificaly for two reasons... the first reason is that your friend lost her wallet and I spent time with her trying to assist in finding it (which thankfully ended up being a success). And the second reason is that your other friend, who I had several short conversations with throughout the day (both on the bus and at the wineries), ended up giving me a very generous gratuity at the end of the tour. So I am not sure what this review is all about, but its projecting something which goes beyond me and the services which I provided. The only thing I can imagine is that you felt you were not given the same amount of attention as your friends had received. And if that is the case, then I sincerely apologize, as I would never make anyone feel like they were being ignored or treated unequally. I always try my best to give all our customers equal attention. Anyway, I don't expect your perspective to change after reading this reply, however, I do want to apologize again for any ill feelings which you may have felt due to my services (or as you described as my lack of services). And for your other two friends, I am happy that they found their wallet and I am grateful for the generous gratuity they left. Have a great day and take care :)

Overall this was a good experience even though it wasnā€™t what I was expecting. Here is what you get, you will be taken to three different wineries to drink and you will be in a bus with a mix of people ranging from couples to party heads. You will not learn about wine or the wine making process. You will not get someone to tell you about the history of the area. You will not get an experience where you will learn about the different kinds of wines through a hand picked menu. What you will get is to drink a bunch of wine, dance on a party bus, and take a photo at each winery. Donā€™t get me wrong, I had fun and I enjoyed the people I met on the tour. The experience at Lorenzi winery was a fantastic. The second stop at Maurice Carrie was fun with music in the cellar, but it was cold and the tables/chairs were not very comfortable. We had the baked Brie, which was good. Iā€™m glad we didnā€™t order a lunch through the tour because what the other guests got didnā€™t look very good and it seemed over-priced. The last stop at Callaway was a beautiful venue, but not really a personable tasting experience. We were given 5 paper tabs/tickets to order from the menu. Would highly recommend Lorenzi Vineyards for tasting. We received a 50% off on any wines from the tasting at Lorenzi, which we took advantage of!
