Overview

Eco Endeavors can accommodate up to 12 guests on an Adventure based Eco-Tour through The Ten Thousand Islands of south Florida on our custom built, United States Coast Guard Inspected vessel. Throughout the duration of this 3 hour trip, guests will have the opportunity to see abundant wildlife up close such as dolphin, manatee and several species of birds. We will also stop at an isolated barrier island only accessible by boat to search for rare shells, swim or snorkel. We also offer Private tours for small or large groups directly on our website at EcoEndeavors.org.

Due to Hurricane Ian the precautionary advisory issued by DOH officials we have made some temporary changes to the tour: We will pull the boat directly onto the beach so you will not have to enter the water. Being able to successfully navigate 3 steps is required to enter and exit the boat. We DO NOT recommend swimming while on the barrier islands at this time. We DO recommend wearing beach shoes while on the barrier islands. Although not required, we are taking these precautions as safety is always our priority.

We loved our boat tour with captain David. He is kind and thoughtful and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this to all who have a bit of time. We especially loved hearing about the island. Shelling on the island was a plus.

Our 3 hour tour around the 10000 islands was incredible. The dolphins riding along side the boat was out of the world. Other local wildlife was also exciting, especially seeing the burrow owl nest area and the owl checking us out. The white pelicans, nesting osprey and the grey heron were special sights to see. Nick was the best guide and boat driver.

We enjoyed ourselves very much! Captain Dave was kind and knowledgeable. He was attentive to my elderly mother and handicapped daughter and did his utmost best to spot dolphins. Shelling on one of the barrier islands exceeded all our expectations, never seen so many beautiful shells in my life!! Next year we'll there again, needless to say we already made a reservation with Eco Endeavors. Worth every penny, highly recommended! Thanks captain Dave for a wonderful day!
