The American Prohibition Museum Admission Ticket

Overview
The American Prohibition Museum, located in Savannah's City Market, is the first and only museum in the United States dedicated to the history of Prohibition. While here, self-guided guests will travel back in time to the early 1900s, as anti-alcohol rallies swept the nation and the “booze problem” was pushed to the forefront of American politics. The true story of America’s struggle with the liquor question, the passing of the 18th Amendment, its impact on the nation, and the far-reaching consequences of the 13 years of Prohibition all come to life within the walls of the American Prohibition Museum.

Upgrade to the Guided Tour Option or the Guided Tour & Cocktail Experience option. Each will give you a fully guided 45-minute tour. The Guided Tour option also includes a period-accurate cocktail or mocktail. This was a great museum! The exhibits were interesting and we learned a lot. We especially enjoyed the interactive photo locations and the wax figures. The hidden speakeasy was great. We enjoyed an old fashioned cocktail made for us by a very friendly bartender. We are not normally big museum people, but this one was a lot of fun. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Don’t miss an opportunity to check it out!

Great tour and we had a good time BUT the tour guide allowed non paying people to join our tour and oftentimes they interrupted our view and made the space so crowded we were unable to hear our guide.

We did the guided tour with a drink included at the end. It actually exceeded expectations. Emi, our tour guide, was fantastic. Energetic and super knowledgeable. I really learned a lot about the effects prohibition had on US history. Highly recommend!
