The New York Pass® is activated upon first use, and is active for the consecutive number of days selected.
You can only visit each attraction once per lifetime of pass. There is however no limit to the number of attractions you can visit during your pass duration.
Child passes are only available for ages 3 to 12 years old. For any accompanying children under 3 yrs old please check with each individual attraction or tour whether infants are accepted and/or need to pay an entrance fee.
Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry does not include entry to Statue of Liberty pedestal or crown levels inside - must be purchased separately.
PLEASE NOTE: Some attractions welcome visitors on the day and some need to be booked in advance, so be sure to check the digital guide for instructions and place reservations well in advance (where needed) to avoid disappointment.
New York also has a few extremely popular attractions that don't have reservation requirements, but will involve wait times during busy periods. These include Top of the Rock Observation Deck, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, One World Observatory, Best of NYC Cruise by Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises and Liberty Super Express Cruise. For these attractions in particular, check all the tips included on the digital guide and app, to ensure you have the best sightseeing experience.

Situated in Lower Manhattan, One World Observatory offers a state-of-the-art viewing platform 102 stories above ground. Travel straight to the top in 47 seconds in the SkyPod Elevator and delve into the cities cultural and financial history with interactive displays, and interesting talks led by the Tour Ambassadors. Statue of Liberty

Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Ferry - *Does not include entry to pedestal or crown levels inside Statue of Liberty - must be purchased separately.* No New York visit is complete without an official welcome from Lady Liberty. Simple to use and saved us loads of money. A bonus that we didn’t know about was that in some places, if you are using the pass, they send you straight to the front of the queue. (Top of the Rock and The Edge)

The hop on hop off bus isn’t worth the money, it’s only one day , we were told that it finished around 8pm , by a British tourist who did it pre covid , so we walked to Times Square from our hotel, got off at China town, then got back on then off near the Brooklyn bridge, we walked over and then walked back, we looked at the leaflet to see where the next hop on hop off bus stop was as we had been waiting 35 mins. and it stated that the last bus was in fact 4pm We ended up paying for a taxi back to our hotel on 34th st 8av only to then notice while we popped out for lunch that the leaflet that they handed to us was wrong ! the next thing was the ride, you book online and they ask for your bank details, we booked for 3 , me my husband and son, They have your bank details and agree to t&cS that if you cancel , or don’t turn up you will be charged , (the amount was $237) … from city pass website —- ***Your credit card will only be charged if you do not show up for the tour or do not cancel within 24-hours of the tour start time. You must arrive 15 minutes early to the departure location to have your pass validated for boarding. Customers without their pass or an active pass will be charged full price*** Fair enough, We got to the ride, then tried to scan my pass- it stated expired, although it was still in date. The man tried it again then it said already used !!! I went on my emails and looked for the email confirmation and scanned that, there wasn’t just us. There was 5 tickets in line that wouldn’t work. We got on the ride, it was ok, Nothing like what you think it’s going to be like. Had an email today staying I will be charged What’s more annoying is that I wouldn’t have paid $20 to do the ride. So didn’t save me money at all.

Have to say overall it was a real money saver. We bought a 3 day pass and we saw everything we wanted to see. I would definitely recommend, worth the price. But I do recommend you plan carefully. We did Downtown on day one, Midtown on day 2, and Uptown on day 3. That worked excellently. Of course how you break it down, depends on were your hotel is located. Also some things don't require a tour so don't waste time trying to schedule a tour. For example, Central Park, Liberty island, High line, Times Square. Just use common sense. NYC is a lot of fun. Pass was worth it.
