Come experience the only old-growth tree climbing activity in the State of Washington and create some unforgettable memories. This is your chance to do something not even .1% of the population has done, but now you can. In small-groups climb together on 1-4 trees between 100 and 200 feet high, depending on your athletic level. Some of the trees are even rare old-growth trees. See the unique perspective above the canopy and feel what it's like to be eye level with an eagle as you climb/swing around like a monkey through the open air and catch branches, while safely harnessed by rope. Climb your way up some of the tallest trees in the world to amazing views of the upper canopy, mountains, and ocean. Connect to nature like you have never done before, beyond the trail.

During this activity you will explore the special ecology of old-growth trees and its importance in our environment and so much more.

My 10 and 13 year old did this activity with Rilen as their guide. They were a little nervous going in but ended up loving it. My partner and I felt 100% comfortable leaving our kids in Rilen’s hands. They really loved Rilen too, and couldn’t have had a better time. Now they want to do the summer camp, but I think the age cut off is 12.

The tree climbing adventure was a lot of fun. I expected to have more fear of heights, but our guide Rilen went above and beyond to make it a pleasant experience. He was attentive, encouraging, and conscientious as well as entertaining with his delightful conversation and Spider Man maneuvers! I booked this trip with my teenage son for my special birthday/mom-son bonding experience and it was perfect! We both had a great time and it made for a unique memory together. The forest and water views were calming and beautiful. We went at 1:00 on a Sunday in May and were the only guests. I had been worried about slowing the group down so it was perfect. The climbing requires some lower back and hamstring strength so was a workout for me but Rilen was patient and encouraging and I never felt rushed. I’d highly recommend this adventure!

Did the Canopy Tree climb at Deception with guide Isaac today. Outstanding way to spend a morning; the guide was knowledgeable, professional and safe. Highly recommend, would be a wonderful family excursion.
