Overview

Come experience the only old-growth tree climbing activity in the State of Washington and create some unforgettable memories. This is your chance to do something not even .1% of the population has done, but now you can. In small-groups climb together on 1-4 trees between 100 and 200 feet high, depending on your athletic level. Some of the trees are even rare old-growth trees. See the unique perspective above the canopy and feel what it's like to be eye level with an eagle as you climb/swing around like a monkey through the open air and catch branches, while safely harnessed by rope. Climb your way up some of the tallest trees in the world to amazing views of the upper canopy, mountains, and ocean. Connect to nature like you have never done before, beyond the trail.

During this activity you will explore the special ecology of old-growth trees and its importance in our environment and so much more.

Once in a lifetime experience, we did old growth canopy climbing. All the staff was amazing, kind, and helpful: from booking to end, if they don't answer the phone make sure to leave a voicemail and they will get right back to you. We had so much fun! Be ready to get your workout on. Can not recommend them enough, the kindness and patience of the staff made the experience extremely meaningful. Not once did we feel rushed or like we were doing something wrong, which led to being in the present moment and taking it all in at our own pace. We also opted for the photo option and glad we did - again everyone was super nice. They all ensured we had an amazing time and captured great memories for us (like us getting engaged in the canopy). Make sure to bring some cash and TIP your guides, trust me - they deserve all the appreciation (honestly best guides we've ever had). Thank you AdventureTerra!!!!

Canopy tree climbing was truly a unique experience. Our guide Leo was very knowledgeable. He was patient while teaching us the ropes and made safety and comfort a priority. I highly recommend this experience to anyone regardless of age or skill level. Truly a great PNW adventure!

My spouse and I did the capopy tree climbing - what a fun and unique adventure! It was a bit more physically demanding that we had anticipated (not really sure what we were thinking?), as you ratchet yourself straight up the ropes using arms and legs. But still very doable for us. Our guide - Leo - was simply a gem. He was so kind and thoughtful and made the experience much more than just climbing trees and looking at view; he was such a good person to meet and spend the afternoon "hanging" out with. Much knowledge, trivia fun facts, reflections on the day, and even gave us some recs on his favorite olive oil (no joke, he's awesome). Thank you to AdventureTerra and to Leo for such a wonderful adventure! HIGHLY recommend this tour.
