Overview

This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My wife and I decided to get our full scuba certIfication after the pool section because we enjoyed it so much. Our first dive was on a shipwreck, but I'm told that it depends on the day what you get to dive on. Overall, I would recommend this course for anyone looking to get into scuba diving.

Good for SCUBA, ignored if snorkeling. In our party one did scuba dive while the rest snorkled. The diver was given instructions and was helped quite a bit. We snorklers were completely ignored. We had not snorkled in over 10 years and forgot a couple things but had to remember on out own (like how to place your mask on your head so water doesn't leak in). The biggest irritation was how completely unorganized they were. While on the boat, with sweat dripping off us, they were trying to make sure there was enough gear and scrounging to find enough. The instructor who was with our snorkler, Zack, was very cool and helpful. We appreciated his time and information. If we went again, I would book directly with the company that takes you out.

We had a great time in our Discover Scuba Diving course with David. My wife and I did this with our 13 and 10 year old boys. David was great with all of us, especially our boys. He took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we were always safe. We loved it so much that we will be seeing him in the future for full certification.
