We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample or samples of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Do-Rite Donuts, Firecakes, Stans, and Doughnut Vault.

What To Expect

The Loop

The Underground Donut Tour takes place over two hours. We'll visit four of the best donut stores in the city. All of them are located in the Chicago Loop area and we'll try a few donuts from each location. Donuts are included in the cost of the tour. You'll also have the option to purchase additional donuts if you wish.

Absolutely loved the Donut Tour! Each stop was different but the donuts were all very tasty. Our guides were extremely nice and gave us a great tour. There were a couple hiccups - one place was closed and one place had a very long line, but the guys were so accommodating and were totally focused on making sure we had a good tour. Will definitely do it again when I return to Chicago.

I loved this donut tour. U had my doubts to go just because it was raining and I had small children. But so happy we went the tour stuff are amazing and patient specially when you have kids. It was amazing, fun and kid friendly. And the donuts amazing. We will do it again and recommend this tour it's worth it.

I learned about the Underground Donut Tour from seeing it on WGN News. So my husband and I signed up for it but waited for cooler weather. Yesterday morning started out rainy but by the time we got into the city it had stopped. So really the weather was perfect. The young gentleman that was our guide for the tour was very personable and had a great sense of humor. Also, he gave us some info on some things about the city as we walked around. The donuts we all good choices. The gentleman who started the Donut tours also joined us. Very nice and easy to talk to. So we really enjoyed tasting all the different donuts, walking the city and talking to fellow tour people and the guides. We would highly recommend this to others.
