We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample or samples of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Do-Rite Donuts, Firecakes, Stans, and Doughnut Vault.

What To Expect

The Loop

The Underground Donut Tour takes place over two hours. We'll visit four of the best donut stores in the city. All of them are located in the Chicago Loop area and we'll try a few donuts from each location. Donuts are included in the cost of the tour. You'll also have the option to purchase additional donuts if you wish.

Our group of family and friends had a great time on the Underground Donut Tour and Jackson, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, funny and helpful! We were a little late due to construction on the loop but after calling the office, they notified the tour guide & he very nicely waited for us to arrive before beginning the tour. We would definitely recommend this tour for a fun way to spend the morning and see some of Chicago on foot while enjoying all those delicious donut stops! There was a really good variety of donuts to please every palate but my favorite was the Crème Brulee donut!!

This tour was very different from our other tours. It was a "Sweet" time ! We ate donuts, we walked, we ate more donuts, we walked and never had to stand in line on a Sunday morning. We enjoyed our guides who were very informative and fun. Thanks for starting our Chicago morning out right !

We had a great time on the doughnut tour. Every place was different and unique. I had heard of 2 out of the 4 places that we stopped at. Turns out one of the others was my favorite and I went back and got more for the ride home! You do not get a full donut at each stop, and believe me, you don't need it! The tour guide, Jackson, was fun and knowledgeable. I had issues with my online registration and Jeff was on top of it and got me registered right away.
