We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample or samples of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Do-Rite Donuts, Firecakes, Stans, and Doughnut Vault.

What To Expect

The Loop

The Underground Donut Tour takes place over two hours. We'll visit four of the best donut stores in the city. All of them are located in the Chicago Loop area and we'll try a few donuts from each location. Donuts are included in the cost of the tour. You'll also have the option to purchase additional donuts if you wish.

Donuts?! Go Nuts!

My wife and I had an excellent time at the Underground Donut Tour. 10/10 would highly recommend. Our guide was not only knowledgable but also incredibly courteous and outgoing to our group and donut shop workers.

I look forward to a return trip with extended family... What can I say, we love our donuts.

My family had such a great time with Jeff on this tour! I am a local but wanted something fun and interesting to do with family on their gazillionth trip to Chicago. This tour fit the bill - lots of tasty donuts, a warm and friendly tour guide, and a nice walk on a Saturday morning. Each place was pretty unique with awesome donut specialties. I loved being able to sample so many different donuts and it was pretty sweet that some of the shops prepared samples specifically for the tour. Jeff runs a smooth tour with recommendations and accommodations for gluten-free diets. I even learned new stuff about Chicago!

I'd totally recommend this tour for your weekend morning. It is hard to go wrong with donuts!
