It was our first time to the horse country of Kentucky and Shaun Washington gave us a great introductory tour. We were very lucky to be his only customers for the early tour, and did we have fun. Shaun knows his horses and knows his racing history; and he took us to a variety of farms. We visited Hill N Dale, a beautiful equine cemetery, that is the burial site of the great Seattle Slew. Four Winds Farm cares for horses and was a very personable place. Another farm was working with colts and getting them ready for racing. Shaun shared some great stories along the way; he is a great tour guide.

This horse farm tour was our favorite part of our whole trip!!! Sean knew so much about the business and the horses..great background stories and anecdotes! We were able to get up close and feed so many of these beautiful creatures! I would go again in a heartbeat!

A fun and great way to spend an afternoon in Lexington. Shaun was a fantastic guide. He is full of local and horse information. We visited three different farms and saw some beautiful horses and farms. Shaun even took us to an veterinary location to view an operation on a young horse. Don’t miss this tour!!!!
