The tour states it is between 2.5-3 hours in duration. We were back at the Embassy Suites in 2.5 hours after stopping at a BBQ restaurant for ice cream. This stop was not mentioned in the ad and any food/drink ordered was paid for by the guest (not included in the cost of the tour as others tours I’ve taken). This was an additional cost that I was not expecting. The tour itself was awesome! We were able to go inside 3 horse barns - but due to rain., we we were unable to pet the horses at the 4th farm.

One of the best tours I've been on hands down. Shaun's experience and knowledge make this tour so special. Getting to actually interact with the horses and farms set this tour apart. You'll learn so much and leave with a totally new perspective of the thoroughbred horse business.

This is one helluva tour. First you have Shaun. The stories he tells ,the knowledge of race horse history ,and of all current facets of racing keep you fascinated throughout the tour . Then the horses and farms leave you in awe of beauty and magnificence of the whole racing industry. It is the best time I have since arriving in Lexington and the memories will last me a lifetime . Thank You Shaun
