Took my wife, a true hores lady, on this tour on a Monday. We were the only two to sign up for Monday, making this very private. Shaun is the owner/operator and just a cheerful and engaging gentleman. A rare mix of personality, hospitality and knowledge. Right off the bat he made us feel at home. First stop was worth the trip. Went to a beautiful farm and were able to see the son of American Pharaoh. The owner of this farm then drove to the Stalls to visit with Shaun, and once again, the owner made us feel welcome. It was obvious Shaun had credibilty and respect among the owners and their staff at all levels. Later we went to see the super horse Curlin and met the manger of their breeding program. He again made us feel welcomed and allowed my wife into the stall to get a picture with him and Curlin. He gave us 20 minutes of his time which I'm sure was very valuable. We went to the famous Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital where we actually witnessed a part of a ligament surgery. The owner, Mr. Rood, visited with us and his like for Shaun was undeniable. This was worth far much more than we paid. We have memories that will last a life time, along with a new friend, Shaun.
