This tour was absolutely amazing!! Shawn made the tour such a blast. Newly married and moved to Kentucky, my parents visited us for the first time so I wanted to show them a good time. But wow were we blown away! Not only did we learn so much about horse farms, Kentucky, and even bourbon - we felt like we were old friends with his. I 100% recommend unique horse farm tours over any other horse tour in the bluegrass. You won't regret it!

If you're camping from one of the huge monsters you see on the highway or tents tents, there is a place for you at this place. The adjacent park (at a reasonable fee) gives you a full history of thoroughbred racing. You can actually see former Derby winners up close! The other other exhibits are very well done and my wife and I spent a whole day there. The other plus is the park is only a 10 minute drive to Lexington (beautiful city with the white and black horse farm fences) and the bourbon trail is very accessible. Therareis some really great bar b que places very close to the park and I will be sending in some more reviews on those soon.

YOU HAVE TO GO ON THIS TOUR AT LEAST ONCE. This weekend was my second time on the Unique Horse Farm Tour. The tour itself is an incredible opportunity to see all of the beautiful multi-million dollar farms in the Lexington area. There were differences in my tours (got to see different farms) which was awesome, but even the couple that were repeats were cool to see again. My husband (who is not a horse person by any means) LOVED this tour as well. Spent all night poking me in our hotel room telling me facts he researched about the farms. Now - the tour itself is incredible but what really takes it to the next level is the tour guide Sean. His knowledge is limitless. This is his own business and I love helping out small business owners. What an incredible experience, really took our weekend trip to the next level.
