We so enjoyed our tour of the horse farms with Shaun Washington. He is so knowledgeable about the horses, the history of the farms, the owners and the sport of horse-racing. We got to be up close to horses and loved watching the mares and colts together. We toured some of the barns which are so beautifully built and maintained. A stop at the equine hospital for a view of a surgery was very interesting. Thanks to Shaun for making this such a memorable trip!

Wonderful up close, small group tour of several horse farms and lots of horses. Included a stop in the equine veterinary hospital and a farm founded in 1794. Shaun Williamson, our driver and tour host, is outstanding; he's knowledgeable and engaging and fun.

I took a tour about 3 years ago with Shaun, which was excellent. I took one today which exceeded the earlier tour. Shaun is extremely knowledgable about horses and horse racing. He has inside information and stories that are fascinating. Today, we toured several very special farms and some horses in training at Keeneland. Since we had 2 very well-behaved and interested children, Shaun made a stop at Midway Bakeries. If you are gluten-free like me, it was GREAT they had choices!!! I can't give Shaun too many positives. If you know nothing about horses or if you have followed horses for a long time, you will enjoy Shaun's Unique Horse Farm Tours which you book through the Kentucky Horse Park or from Shaun at 859-213-6653. You will not be disappointed. An additional perk: he is an excellent and safe driver!!!!
