We came from Iowa and are SO glad that we went on this tour while at Kentucky Horse Park. It was WELL worth the money! We got see Calumet which was amazing and were so entertained the entire afternoon by Shawn's wittiness and vast knowledge of horse history. He could not have been a better host!! My 10 and 12 year old loved the tour! We stopped by a restaurant that was on Diners, Drive-Ins, and a Dives which was a nice addition to the tour. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone...horse lovers or not!

We took this tour with Shawn Washington and had a blast. Mr, Washington is knowledgeable, funny, entertaining, and delightful. The farms you get to see are amazing, from the beautiful barns to the gorgeous horses, foals on up to adults. I cannot wait to come back to Lexington and take another tour with Mr. Washington. This tour is well worth your time!

My wife and I took our daughters (ages 12 and 10) on this tour and we absolutely loved it. I wish I would have had a recording of the stories that Mr. Shawn Washington told as we drove from farm to farm. He was very much the gentleman and very entertaining. The 3 farms we went to were all different and all beautiful. Shawn gave us tidbits of information on each place along the way and made sure we each had a good time. He also talked about points of interest along the way. Our daughters even got a shoe from a famous racehorse (only because the farrier happened to be there when we were there). Incredible!!! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and would take it again in a heartbeat. Definitely a "must do" on our list!
