Shawn was a wealth of information - we went to 3 farms - Hurricane Hall, Calumet and KatieRich; Shawn was very entertaining and he shared lots of facts that made the tour fun. The best part for me was to get close enough to pet the horses. I was in awe of their beauty! Great tour!!

Had a great tour with Unique Horse Farm tours. Shaun was an outstanding guide. He was full of information and stories. He started the tour getting our horse fix by stopping at a field by one farm (don't remember the name) and the horses came over to be petted. We then continued on to three horse farms - Calumet (did not go into the barns but got out at the horse cemetery which was really nice), KatieRich (went into a barn and saw a lot of really cute foals) and Shadwell (went into the beautiful barn) and the backside of Keeneland (got to feed a mint to a racehorse). Advertised as a two-three hour tour and total time for our tour was right at three hours and well worth the money. Great overview tour of the horse industry in Lexington. Not a lot of walking involved but there is a lot of riding in the van (which is comfortable by the way) between farms. Probably wouldn't recommend for really young kids due to the length of the tour.

A lot of fun. This is a wonderful tour. Shaun is a wealth of information on TB racing and he imparts this knowledge, in large part, through hilarious and entertaining stories. We visited 3 farms including Shadwell and Calumet. We saw babies, two year old fillies and stallions, along with the world's best contemporary and historic facilities. We spent time at the Calumet horse cemetery, which is a very special place. Shaun is a well-spoken, warm and friendly person, who makes one very aware of just how amazing horses and horse people can be. This tour is not to be missed.
