Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

In compliance with updated Tennessee guidelines, we are frequently sanitizing our gear and have marked floor guides so you can keep social distance within our retail building. Please bring a face mask for the bus shuttle. A ziplock bag will keep it dry during your river trip.

Had a great time! Chris was great and willingly reassured us about some of our worries as we were first timers. He also made sure we were laughing and safe the whole way down the river.

My husband and I took our young adult son with us on a TN vacation, and one thing on our bucket list was white water rafting. Our guide was Dean, a 71 year old jokester who has been white water rafting for 42 years, and it shows. He knew every rock in that river and was great at guiding us how and when to paddle to keep us safely in the boat while making sure we laughed all the way. I recommend Smoky Mountain Outdoors, and especially "Rev" Dean!
