Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

In compliance with updated Tennessee guidelines, we are frequently sanitizing our gear and have marked floor guides so you can keep social distance within our retail building. Please bring a face mask for the bus shuttle. A ziplock bag will keep it dry during your river trip.

Our guide Ian was knowledgeable and an expert! We thoroughly enjoyed our family’s first ever whitewater rafting experience. Excitement and enjoyment all wrapped up into one! Something we will all remember and talk about for years to come!

We had a great raft ride. We have two boys (10 and 11). Sean went over safety carefully and also made the entire trip fun. It was a cold afternoon and we were worried that we wouldn’t have fun! We had a GREAT time! Thank you!

We are a family of 6 with kids between the ages of 9 and 13. We all had a blast!! Our guide was very knowledgeable and super funny to put us at ease. Rapids were exciting!! We saw others fall out of their boats but our guide made sure we were kept safe and secure. He totally made the trip for us!! I highly recommend SMO to anyone looking for a great rafting experience.
