Just love the various types of Texas history artifacts on display. The art work and Biographies on the artists is great. Can't wait to make a Thursday night event.

I've been to Galveston many times over the last 30 years. This was a new experience. The Bryan Museum houses a unique collection of artifacts and opened in the old Galveston orphan home in 2013. It has mainly items from early days in Texas and the southwest. You can see it's history and that of the man who collected the items by doing a search on the web. It's a great way to spend an afternoon in Galveston when you need a break from seaside and nautical stuff. There's something of interest for the whole family.
