My daughter and I love it! Very pleasant. Staff was super sweet. Extremely informative and we absolutely loved seeing all the history. We were there for probably over 3 hours and it didn't feel like it at all!

I was not expecting such a wide and interesting array of memorabilia and information on Texas History here. Something for everyone. If in Galveston you gotta make this a priority. I figured in and out in 30 min. We were there over 3 hours and couldn't take in all the displays. We will go back again for things we missed.

For those interested in Western and Texas history, this place rocks. Read James Donovan’s The Blood of Heroes and then come here! Art, artifacts, history, and lore. For the kiddies, a pretty fantastic pirate “cave” offers entertainment. Definitely a great stop on the island.
