Galveston may be a beach resort town but the history of Texas and the Gulf Coast area can be experienced at the Bryan Museum. The exhibits range from the early Indians through today. This museum was originally built in 1895 as an orphanage and walks you through each age of Texas history. Amazingly they also cater weddings and events onsite. Beautiful gardens surround the building and the inside is breathtaking. Highly recommended for anyone travelling to or living in Galveston.

Galveston was the most prosperous city in Texas. We still can see the legacy here. It was hard to find a free [arking in Galveston. When I visited here, there was free spots behind the museum. I was concerned about COVID19. But the museum was super clean. I was amazed at the restrooms. This building was built many years ago. But the restrooms were super clean!! I spent two hours without worrying about COVID19!!
