My wife and I got to the Pineapple Hut at 11:45am. Emails said to be there early as they leave at 12:15pm sharp. Found a place to park...so we thought...some lady comes out and says we canā€™t park there. There was honestly no other place else to park....we pulled off in the grass. The Kayak office was closed. Asked the same lady who wouldnā€™t let us park if they had a restroom available for my wife and I....she said no public restroom....we left. Iā€™m sure no refund will be offered....but I would steer clear of this place.

I recommend this outfitter as they have one of the first time slots of the day which is paramount for an amazing experience. Brian, our guide was punctual to the point of almost leaving a couple who arrived 5 min late. Please be on time. He managed our group of 8 adults very well. Directions and expectations were carefully outlined. Brianā€™s dialogue was historical and hysterical! Movie references as well as info about flora/fauna and local legends were well-placed along the tour to allow for a breather. This tour can be done by the non-athletic. The hike was easy but expect mud and to get dirty. That was the best part! We forged a few streams, one with a guide rope with water hitting mid thigh. The rocks are slippery and it could be scary for kids. I would recommend leaving kids under 12 at the resort. Also pack towels, water, and a snack. A water proof pack for your camera or iPhone would be helpful. Dry bags are provided. Hiking poles would have been nice but Brian came up with walking sticks for all. The waterfall was spectacular. Wear a bathing suit for a pool plunge. Adventure to the back of the falls for a trick of gravity with water flowing up. So cool! We saw lots of people on the trail and the river upon our return but it was nicely secluded for 3/4 of the trip. The kayak back was a little more aggressive than the trip in, largely due to the wind. Overall, an active jungle hike/kayak adventure which was a ton of fun and very memorable. I highly recommend!

This was the highlight of my visit to the Island .After kayaking and hiking, arriving at the falls was such a thrill that I could not pass the chance to go behind them to finish the journey! Brian was an excellent guide, He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and funny. Brian also had a caring way of making everyone feel a part of the group.
