Walking tour in Manhattan Brooklyn Bridge and Waterfront

Overview
NEW: For a special treat, book my new Sunset tour offered at 6 pm on Saturday, and watch the sun set and Manhattan skyline come alive.

All tours are delivered in English, and by the proprietor Scott, and feature small groups. Enjoy a 3-hour, 3-mile stroll with a 30-year resident of Brooklyn. I'll lead you to the most picturesque photo ops and find corners that only a local would know. Learn about the history of the people, eras, and technology that defined Brooklyn's rise. We'll pass by the homes of some very famous stars of TV and film, as well as through shoot locations you will almost certainly recognize from popular TV and films.

You'll end up in NYC's hottest neighborhood, Dumbo, home of NYC's best pizza. Make time for lunch and, during warm-weather weekends, to browse Brooklyn Flea for a bespoke, vintage souvenir.

This is a walking version of my popular, five-star rated bike tour, also listed on Viator.

Scott leveraged his 3+ decades of experience to create a personal, interesting, and informative journey through both New York and Brooklyn history. We got numerous sneak peaks and hacks, which were extremely useful on this trip and for future knowledge. We had a great time and very much appreciated Scott's hospitality.

Excellent walk with Scott across the Brooklyn Bridge, into Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO! Scott was super knowledgeable, sharing lots of history and points of interest. We were really fortunate that we had Scott for ourselves as a family so we had the chance to ask lots of questions. A great few hours to get under the skin of this part of the city! Definitely recommend this tour.

Anyone can read the history of a place they visit - but Scott is one of the few tour guides who puts history in full context, up to the current moment. His knowledge of the Brooklyn waterfront (in fact, of New York on the whole) is extensive, but it's his storytelling, charm, and dedication to giving you a great experience that makes this a tour worth taking. A highlight of a visit to NYC for sure.
