You'll also cruise by Alexandria, Virginia. Alexandria was first established in the 1600s by tobacco merchants from Scotland and England. Additionally, you’ll see the Torpedo Factory, pass by Admiral's Row, cruise under the famous Woodrow Wilson Bridge, view the US Naval Research Lab and more!

My wife and I have been trying to schedule a trip to see the cherry blossoms for several years and finally made it this year. Getting to the ship was easy but did require some pre planning in order to arrive on time in order to enjoy the lunch buffet which was served starting at 11 AM for the lunch cruise. The buffet was well managed and the food was well prepared also. The ship departed the dock precisely at noon and returned on time at 2PM. The narration of the points of interest was clear and interesting. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive as was the entire staff. The ship was clean and well maintained and sailing was smooth and the day prefect for sightseeing.

First class event with excellent lunch, service and entertainment. March 24 cool weather limited the outside activities but the very scenic view from indoors was great with all the highlights narratived by the tour guide. Entertainment and great food selections made this one of the many highlights of the trip. I would recommend it as a must do excursion when in DC.
