We booked this tour because we werenāt interested in spending 8 hours on the Skagway train. We enjoyed this 3-hour tour so much and I think we saw much of what we would have seen on the train (maybe even more!). Our tour guide, Nikki, was wonderful! She took us around town, stopped at spots along our route so that we could take photos, and she even gave us some tips on taking photos with our iPhones. The Yukon suspension bridge was spectacular (tip - they have some really nice t-shirts in the gift shop and they are very affordable). Nikkiās knowledge of Alaska was extremely impressive. She gave us many tips on foods to try in the gift shop, places to visit in Skagway, went out of her way to make sure we saw some animals, and shared a lot of stories about living in Skagway year round. I would definitely book again with Rainbow Glacier Adventures!

Thanks for this great review. I like that you mentioned the gift shop at the Suspension Bridge. They make an effort to have quality products at a fair price. And since the prices are in Canadian dollars, they exchange can result in a an even better deal. We look forward to your return with Rainbow Glacier Adventures. I would suggest you take one of our tours to Haines if your cruise takes you to Skagway again. Haines has a different feel from Skagway and sees much less cruise ship traffic.
