Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

I was very unsure about taking my grands (ages 13 and 14) white water rafting, but I researched all the differant companies and called them, Big Creek was so nice and assuring. It was really no choice, we went with them. They were very professional and fun st the same time. Their first concern is safety then it's fun all the way! Our guide was Huey and he was fantastic, pointing out interesting things along the river. He got the kids involved, they loved the river and him so much that we came back and ran the river with him again in the afternoon! Would highly recommend!

Our guide was Elton on Wednesday July 11, 2018. He shared stories with us about the river and the area. He also got us very wet!! He handled the raft with such expertise, I believe he could turn the boat on a dime. We would recommend Big Creek Expieditions and highly recommend Elton as guide!! We totally enjoyed the trip and hope to come back and do it again!

So I had booked the scenic river float only because I was incredibly scared since I had never done anything like this before. Upon our arrival the woman checking us in convinced me to go for it and do the full out white water rafting and boy am I glad she did!!!!!!!!! She put us with Ericka who was perfect for our family!!!!!!! Ericka was so friendly and caring ensuring our family got the best experience out of this adventure!!!!! I quickly went from being afraid to loving the class 4 rapids the most!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone enjoyed the ride and we can’t wait to do it all over again!!!!!!!!
