Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

We decided to go white water rafting on the spur of the moment while on a trip to Pigeon Forge, TN. It was, by far, the highlight of our trip. Deborah, and all of the folks that run Big Creek Expeditions were amazing and patiently answered all of our questions. Our guide was Greg, and he was absolutely the best. Not only was he great at navigating the river, he was also incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. My wife was not sure at all about doing this, but she had a blast, in large part because Greg was so good. Be sure to ask him to take you "surfing" on the river. I can't say enough good things about this place, it is simply the best.

We took our 8 year old daughter on her first white water trip. This river is perfect for a first timer. Wayne, our guide, took great care of the kid while give the entire raft an awesome ride.

This is a white water rafting excursion that is great for both first timers and seasoned pro's. There were some parts of the river that were slow, but the area itself is gorgeous and worth looking at. The class 4 rapids were a ton of fun. Best of all, our guide Craig, was great at "surfing" the rapids. He showed us how to balance and keep our raft in place while white water blasted underneath us. Super cool!
