This is a must do attraction in TN. The staff was awesome, the river was wild and my family and I had a great time. There are many white water rafting companies out there but I found this one to be the best. I would do this every time we go. They take plenty of pics and they give them to you at the end for a cheap price.

Our family went white water rafting while staying in Pigeon Forge. We loved it! The drive to Hartford is about 1 hr. so be prepared. The rafting is about six miles along the Pigeon river. To start out with the details you might feel a little afraid but the rafting isn't bad at all. Our guide, Justin, was great. Will definitely do it again.

We went white water rafting on the upper Pigeon, July 26 2014. Wonderful experience from booking to the end of the raft trip. Big Creek Expeditions was very organized. They keep your keys safe while you are on the river. Your time you book is your show up time. They will give you time to change and get checked in. Safety talk was very informational and entertaining at same time. We were then outfitted with our helmet, life vest and paddle. Bus ride was short and we were able to talk to guides. They were all very nice and even told us about a great place to hike the next day. Our guide on the raft was Terrell. He was wonderful!! Kept up a running dialog the entire trip. He even let my friend video the whole trip. She got the "princess" ride. Gave suggestions for our next trip. Felt very safe. Would recommend. Very professional! Made our trip.
