Overview

The Loxahatchee River tour starts out narrow and twisty as it meanders its along its way downstream from Riverbend Park toward the Atlantic Ocean. The round-trip tour lasts approximately 2 hours from Riverbend Park down the river, depending on water and weather conditions. You’ll pass through an incredible cypress swamp, some sandy areas and thousands of species of plants and animals. The tour will often be under the shade of a beautiful canopy of cypress trees. Currents and water levels vary with the seasons. Portage may be necessary. Please review conditions and specific tour details with staff.

Jennifer was a great guide the kayaking down the river was wonderful, the scenery is beautiful . We got to see a lot of turtles, a snake, iguana, alligators and birds. I even got to kayak down a small waterfall .Jennifer took a lot of pictures and video to document the day for me. I highly recommend this tour!!

We had made it a must to go kayaking in Florida while we were on our Honeymoon. It was one of the best parts of our trip. Our tour guide Candice was so helpful with every part of our experience, she gave us so many details on how to enjoy the kayak experience the best way possible. I would definitely suggest to give this a try, you will not be disappointed.
