Overview

The Loxahatchee River tour starts out narrow and twisty as it meanders its along its way downstream from Riverbend Park toward the Atlantic Ocean. The round-trip tour lasts approximately 2 hours from Riverbend Park down the river, depending on water and weather conditions. You’ll pass through an incredible cypress swamp, some sandy areas and thousands of species of plants and animals. The tour will often be under the shade of a beautiful canopy of cypress trees. Currents and water levels vary with the seasons. Portage may be necessary. Please review conditions and specific tour details with staff.

Tour guides were excellent, the trip vastly exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend. Almost a Jurassic park like feel but much safer.

Loved going through the mazes of Mangroves! The water was very easy to kayak through. Follow the map if you go on your own.
