Wild & Scenic Loxahatchee River Guided Tour

Overview
The Loxahatchee River tour starts out narrow and twisty as it meanders its along its way downstream from Riverbend Park toward the Atlantic Ocean. The round-trip tour lasts approximately 2 hours from Riverbend Park down the river, depending on water and weather conditions. You’ll pass through an incredible cypress swamp, some sandy areas and thousands of species of plants and animals. The tour will often be under the shade of a beautiful canopy of cypress trees. Currents and water levels vary with the seasons. Portage may be necessary. Please review conditions and specific tour details with staff.

A great kayaking experience. Most of the trip was shaded and cool. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and really made the adventure memorable. One thing important to note is you do travel downstream at first, but paddle upstream upon the return. It is doable for most, but it can be difficult and a tad strenuous.

Jennifer and Josh where amazing! Great tour guides and they where so good with our lack of skills. Everyone was helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. I actually learn how to Kayak by the end of the trip!

The only negative was the life vests had a bad moldy odor. Other than that it was a great experience
