Overview

The Loxahatchee River tour starts out narrow and twisty as it meanders its along its way downstream from Riverbend Park toward the Atlantic Ocean. The round-trip tour lasts approximately 2 hours from Riverbend Park down the river, depending on water and weather conditions. You’ll pass through an incredible cypress swamp, some sandy areas and thousands of species of plants and animals. The tour will often be under the shade of a beautiful canopy of cypress trees. Currents and water levels vary with the seasons. Portage may be necessary. Please review conditions and specific tour details with staff.

We had a wonderful experience with the river guided tour, our tour guide was FANTASTIC! It was so much fun going down the dam and meeting new groups of people. Will recommend to other friends looking for a fun day on the water. We will be back again!

Jennifer, our guide was bubbly and informative! She instructed us never kayakers on what we were in for and how to do it. Easy. Tides were a little challenging for those of us that don’t do upper body regularly but all in all not to bad. Recommend the journey and the company managing it. All kayaks, ores and vests were in good working order. Great visit. Thank you.
